How to ensure next year will be a Better

The school year is coming to an end. How will you ensure next year will be a better experience for your child’s special education program?

Let’s Recap:

  • 2020 was a lost year when the pandemic hit and schools closed. Your child did not receive an education and the school district failed to implement IEPs.
  • 2021 was another lost year as virtual instruction was introduced with synchronous and asynchronous academic instruction, which basically left your child in independent study.
  • Most kids on IEPs cannot learn independently!
  • You may have received a Hybrid model, or half day in-person instruction.

Again, your child lacked instruction from a credentialed teacher. So here we are at the end of the 2021 school year.

How are you going to ensure your child actually receives an education next year with your local school district actually implementing the IEP?

How will you advocate to have your child’s unique needs met so they can begin to progress toward their goals and begin to close the remedial gap?

Listen to Valerie as she gives you the keys to advocacy so YOU can have your local school district provide YOUR child with the IEP they need and deserve. Don’t let your child go another year without the IEP they need to reach their potential to live a purposeful and productive life!
